Karen received her first Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and continued her education at University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, earning a second Bachelor’s in Occupational Sciences and a Master’s in Occupational Therapy. She has experience working with kids of all ages in a variety of settings, including a clinic setting, school-based setting and in the home environment through Early Intervention.
Karen values family members as collaborative partners in their child’s treatment and emphasizes the importance of providing each family with the tools and education needed to promote their child’s development and success. She enjoys working in a sensory rich environment that encourages a child’s confidence and success. In her free time, Karen enjoys traveling to visit family, playing with her dog Mowgli, spending time with friends and walking outdoors.
