Ruby Salazar, a child and family psychotherapist for 40+ years, is the Founder and Clinical Director of Pennsylvania Life Span Services, a multi-disciplinary family-focused practice of developmental and mental health professionals. Mrs. Salazar is the Clinical Director and Regional Reflective Mentor for the Pennsylvania Early Intervention Reflective Supervision Project, the first state-wide initiative in reflective supervision. As a founding member of Profectum, Mrs. Salazar participated in the initial upstart of the organization and currently serves as Coordinator of Tutoring and is a member of the Training and Development Committee.
Also, Mrs. Salazar serves as faculty in the ICDL Graduate School and is as a senior trainer in developmental-relational practice throughout the U.S. and abroad. She chaired President Obama’s Autism Advisory Work Group during his Presidential campaign and was the first annual recipient of the Sally Provence Award for Excellence in Infant/family Practice from Zero to Three, National Center for Infants, Toddlers and Families in Washington, D.C. Mrs. Salazar resides in Pennsylvania with her husband of many years and is the proud mother of four adult children and two grandchildren.
