Mary Claire D’Arrigo, MA, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Chicago-based psychotherapist helping kids, teens, and adults build regulation, resilience, and relational health.

Mary Claire is passionate about fostering change through genuine human connection and self-reflection. Having grown up in Chicago, she is familiar with the hustle and bustle of everyday life here.

However, after living in Idaho for several years after undergrad, Mary Claire learned the importance of slowing down. This allows self-regulation in an overstimulating society and helps us integrate ourselves into the communities and world around us.

While in Idaho, she taught special education through Teach For America. Witnessing the mental health crisis facing young people kickstarted her desire to work as a mental health counselor.

Mary Claire has worked with challenges across the lifespan, such as:

• Dealing with Life Transitions

• Intimacy Issues

• Body Image Issues

• Depression and Anxiety

• Grief and Loss

Mary Claire integrates psychodynamic, somatic, and DBT methods into her therapeutic practice, allowing her to best support your needs. Learn more about Mary Claire on Psychology Today.

Mary Claire’s clinical supervision will be completed under the guidance of former AZ+A psychotherapist Eliana Sigel‑Epstein, MSW, LCSW. Mary Claire is accepting new clients of all ages.

In her free time, Mary Claire loves being outdoors, cooking with local produce, doing triathlons, reading, and crocheting!
