Clara is passionate about empowering children to achieve their fullest potential through their most important occupation: play.
Her interest in occupational therapy and working with pediatric populations began when she was in college, spending the summers teaching swim lessons. After exposure to OT, she valued the profession’s holistic methods, emphasis on individualized care, and use of meaningful occupations to promote independence and learn new skills.
Clara has experience supporting children with autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorders, ADHD, and other developmental delays. She strongly believes in the importance of relationship-based services, using sensory integration techniques and play to foster developmental growth and enhance the quality of life for children and their families.
Her approach emphasizes building meaningful connections to understand each child’s unique developmental profile and collaboration with parents, caregivers, and teachers to ensure the best care.
Outside of the clinic, Clara enjoys spending her time trying out new recipes, listening to podcasts, going on long walks, attending yoga classes, and watching reality TV. During the summers, she loves reading a book at the beach and, of course, swimming!
